At our wonderfully well-attended and interesting CiviDay Bristol (here and here), somehow I managed to become co-opted as the chief co-ordinator for CiviCON London 2016 - 6th-7th October - and I'm reliably informed that organising for this event starts now, or earlier even.

CiviDay in Bristol was an especially extended meet-up so we could run our Bristol themed Prezi introductory seminar for the first time to all the new attendees, nearly everybody was new!). Most of our usual attendees had made their apologies, but we still had twice the normal number. We had biscuits and fruit (which was a first) and a much larger room than we normally use for meet-ups.

The first CiviCRM user group meeting of 2011 took place on Thursday 10th Feb at the Create Centre in Bristol, the first in a while, but with several more programmed in for the coming year to attempt to make it more of a fixture in the UK CiviCRM community.
